Bill Mantlo is an American comic book writer best known for his work on Marvel Comics' The Incredible Hulk, Rocket Raccoon, and Cloak and Dagger. He has also written for DC Comics, including Batman, The New Titans, and The Outsiders. In 1992, Mantlo was the victim of a hit-and-run accident that left him with severe brain damage. He continues to receive treatment for his injuries.
