Kate Fagan is an American journalist, author, and television analyst. She is a former ESPN reporter and columnist for espnW, and is currently a contributing writer for The New York Times. She is the author of the memoir What Made Maddy Run, which chronicles the life of college athlete Madison Holleran, and her best-selling book The Reappearing Act: Coming Out As Gay on a College Basketball Team Led by Born-Again Christians.
