Leigh Stein is an American author and poet. She is best known for her debut novel The Fallback Plan (2012), which follows a young woman's search for identity and purpose. Her other works include the poetry collections Dispatch from the Future (2010) and Land of Enchantment (2015), and a memoir, Self-Care (2019). She is also the co-founder of The Rumpus, an online literary magazine.
