Max Allan Collins is an American author of suspense, historical fiction, and mystery novels. He is best known for his graphic novel Road to Perdition, which was adapted into a 2002 film of the same name starring Tom Hanks. He has also written novels in the "Hardy Boys" and "Nancy Drew" series, and created the comic book character Ms. Tree.
