Sir Thomas Malory (c. 1405–1471) was an English writer, the author of Le Morte d'Arthur, one of the most important works of English-language Arthurian literature. Malory's book was the first to combine the various Arthurian stories into a single narrative, and is now considered one of the most influential works of literature in the English language.
