This volume of the Yugoslav series covers the period January through June 1984. It has the former owner’s signature on the inside front cover. I saw one instance of neat red underlining as shown in the photos; it is possible there are more as I did not inspect every page. It has 368 pages as well as 675 games, plus the usual combinations, games, rating list and tournaments cross tables. Among the events covered where Hastings,Wijk aan Zee, Yugoslav 1984 championship, Kasparov versus Smyslov match, 1984 USSR championship, and the remarkable USSR versus the world match in London 1984. The Soviets were able to squeak out a 21:19 victory. Four world chess champions contributed annotations! There is glare in the photographs which wrongly suggest defects in the covers.
