No writing within, pages are crisp and clean. Illustrations are clean, clear and vibrant. Some shelf wear on the corners of the outside of the book. Other than that, no real cosmetic issues. Binding is straight and tight; all pages are present and intact. Very nice conditions due to its 1960 age. Also, comes with an addition pamphlet that explains about the book.
