This copy is the 1939 Garden City Publishing edition, First Thus. It is beautifully illustrated by Arthur Rackham. The covers of this copy are clean, and the gilt on the spine is in good condition. The corners are bumped, there is slight wear to the edges, and some softening to the spine ends. Light toning to the pages, some foxing, some chips along the fore and top edges. The hinges are cracked, and the webbing shows in a few places. The dust jacket is clipped and has some tears; it is covered in protective Mylar. Feel free to request additional photos.
