Set in Canada during World War II, the novel portrays a romance between Erica Drake, a young woman from a wealthy Protestant family, and Marc Reiser, a Jewish lawyer and soldier. The two lovers are forced to confront and overcome anti-Semitism in their quest love and a relationship. 288 pages poor condition, but still readable. There are no marks on pages.
